Donna is the proud Mother of 3 beautiful children, Phillip, Brooke and David and her children also share her love of Gospel Music and are talented singers and musicians.  Donna Jackson has opened for the late Vestal Goodman of the “Happy Goodmans”, the Blackwood Brothers, Janet Pascal, Brian Free and Assurance, The Dixie Melody Boys, The Encouragers, Alvin Slaughter and many other Christian Quartets and solo vocalist. Donna was the Homecoming Queen, Prom Queen and Miss E.C.H.S. (Effingham County High) for her High School in Springfield, GA.  Donna also represented Savannah as Teen Miss Savannah in 1989 and she was the 4th runner up in the GA Miss Fair Queen Pageant. Donna is also a former 3 times GA State Karate Champion in Forms and Fighting.  Donna has been in the martial arts for over 20 years and owned and operated her own Martial Arts Studio in Springfield, GA for over 5 years.  Donna is an official judge for the Super Grand’s Martial Arts Worldwide Tournament and Donna was involved with the Super Grand’s for 6 years, until she decided to step away to be in Full Time Music Ministry.  Donna enjoys sharing her testimony of God’s healing power, as she was completely healed of cancer on 3 different occasions. She was told she had a rare form of eye cancer in 2000 and God healed Donna, then Donna was told she had thyroid cancer in 2007 again, God healed Donna, then Donna was told she had 2 polyps, a cyst, and a busted blood vessel on her vocal cords and the polyps looked malignant, however, once again, God healed Donna.  Donna completely recognizes that it’s only by the grace of God she kept her voice and did not have to undergo vocal cord surgery.  When Donna attended a revival in Brunswick, GA, where Rev. T.L. Lowry was ministering during a revival, she went forward for prayer and later went to her ENT in Savannah, GA to schedule her vocal cord surgery and to her doctors surprise, Donnas’ vocal chords looked perfect, the polyps, the cyst and busted blood vessel on her vocal cords were gone!  God is a miracle working God! Donna enjoys playing the piano and writing original songs but most of all Donna enjoys lifting up the Name of JESUS through song. Donna recently completed her 4th album with CROSSROADS MUSIC in Arden, N.C., where Jeff Collins was the producer of her new project entitled “Hold On To Your Dreams”.  This album features 8 of Donna Jackson’s original songs as well as 2 of her favorite hymns, “When We All Get to Heaven” and “I’ll Fly Away” performed by Donna Jackson.  Crossroads Music will release 1 of Donnas’ original songs on national Christian radio in 2014.

Donna Jackson is a singer/ songwriter from Savannah, GA. Donna has been singing in churches across the United States and Canada since the age of 12. Her Father, Tom Jackson, was her inspiration and her Mother; Faye Jackson definitely encouraged her to sing at every event and church possible. Donna was raised in the small town of Rincon, GA where she sang at many of the churches and vents in Effingham County.  She has lead praise and worship at several churches in her home state and presently resides in the greater Savannah area with her husband Daniel Davis.  Donna Jackson has opened for the late Vestal Goodman of the “Happy Goodmans”, the Blackwood Brothers, Janet Pascal, Brian Free and Assurance, The Dixie Melody Boys, The Encouragers, Alvin Slaughter and many other Christian Quartets and solo vocalist. 
Donnas’ original song, “Pastor’s Song” has been featured on Great American Gospel TV and has been gaining national airplay throughout the US.  Donna wrote “Pastor’s Song” for her pastor, however, the song, with God’s blessing, has been played and sung throughout the US and internationally.  Donna has been a featured musical guest on TBN, The Inspiration Network, Atlanta Live, Together Again and many other Christian Television Networks.
