For the last 10 yers, Dr. Karla Ivankovich has been the CEO of OnePatient Global Health Initative, a non-for-profit she co-founded with her husband, Dr. Daniel Ivankovich. OnePatient Global Health Initiative is dedicated to treating the mental and physical health needs of Chicago's underserved, regardless of ability to pay. In addition, Dr. Karla saw the need to address the mental health of medical providers from students to physicans. To do so, she created a parallel program providing similar confidential services. As CEO, her primary role is to provide executive oversight through the strategic planning, supervision, development, operations, and clinical compliance.
With a PhD in Psychology, Dr. Karla Ivankovich is board certified as a clinical counselor and a tele-mental health provider in Chicago. She holds undergraduate degrees in both Business Administration and Psychology. Further, she received Master's Degrees in Human Development and INO-Disability Studies. To round out her knowledge, Dr. Karla continued her graduate education with significant coursework in Educational Leadership.
Like most, Dr. Karla wears many hats. She is a prolific public speaker who addresses a wide variety of topics from Corporate Culture, Physician Burnout, Millennials, Relationships, to how Social Media affects Self and Body Esteem and more. She is board certified as a clinical counselor and a tele-mental health provider. She has a private practice, acts a a clinical internship supervisor, and teaches undergraduate psychology for North Park University.
